About Mantle of Praise

We believe that worshiping God goes beyond singing songs. It is a way of life expressed through love, unity, humility, and service to others. Mantle of Praise is a Christian ministry organization formed to unite believers, strengthen worship and praise of God, and share the message of love and hope in Jesus Christ. We long to create a welcoming space where believers from different churches and backgrounds can worship together, grow in faith, and use their gifts and abilities to serve God and others.

Our mission

Our mission is to bring believers and churches together in worship of God and service to the Persian-speaking community.

Through worship, prayer, teaching, spiritual fellowship, and cultural and social activities, we seek to share the love of Jesus Christ in a living and tangible way.

Our ministry began among Persian speakers in the Netherlands. Our vision is to connect, collaborate with, and serve Persian-speaking communities around the world.

Our dream is to see a united community of Christian believers who worship God with one heart, across differences in church background, culture, and personal experience.

We believe that every believer has gifts and abilities that can help build up the body of Christ and serve others.

By creating opportunities for fellowship and service, we want to support believers in their spiritual growth and help spread the message of the gospel.

Every gift can become an opportunity to glorify God and serve others.

Worship and praise

Organizing gatherings, worship services, music programs, and Christian concerts to glorify God and bring believers together.

Prayer and spiritual fellowship

Creating opportunities for group prayer, fellowship, mutual encouragement, and growth in a personal relationship with God.

Training and equipping ministry workers

Offering workshops and teaching programs in worship, Christian music, spiritual growth, and the skills needed for effective ministry.

Sharing the gospel

Sharing the message of hope, salvation, grace, and love in Jesus Christ through cultural, social, and outreach activities and Christian resources.

Working with churches

Creating opportunities for cooperation and fellowship among Persian-speaking believers and churches, with full respect for pastors and the responsibilities of local churches.

Serving the community

Expressing the love of Christ in practical ways through social, cultural, and supportive activities, with humility, empathy, and a heart for service.

Our values

Faith in Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is at the center of our faith, worship, and everything we do. The Bible guides our life and ministry.
Love and respect: We seek to treat everyone with love, respect, and humility, regardless of their cultural, linguistic, or social background.
Unity in the body of Christ: We believe in cooperation and fellowship among believers and churches, and work to strengthen unity and prevent division.
Honesty and stewardship: Transparency, accountability, and faithful stewardship are essential principles of Christian ministry.
Spiritual growth: We encourage one another to deepen our understanding of God’s Word, grow in prayer and worship, and live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
A servant’s heart: We believe that true service comes from a humble, loving heart and seeks to glorify God and build others up.

Our relationship with local churches

Mantle of Praise does not replace the local church.

We respect the vital role of local churches and the responsibility of pastors to provide spiritual guidance and care for believers.

Our members remain connected to their own church and pastor. Their involvement in Mantle of Praise offers an opportunity to broaden cooperation and serve together.

Our aim is not to create competition between churches, but to build bridges of love, unity, and cooperation within the body of Christ.

Membership in Mantle of Praise offers opportunities for spiritual growth, group activities, and collaboration with others who share a vision for serving God.

Membership requirements

Membership in Mantle of Praise is based on the following commitments:

Personal faith in Jesus Christ: Accepting Him as Lord and Savior and desiring to follow His teachings.
Commitment to the Christian faith: Accepting the foundational principles and historic Christian creeds, including the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
Sharing the organization’s mission: Accepting the goals, values, and ministry principles of Mantle of Praise.
A spirit of cooperation and service: Being ready to participate actively, work as a team, and respect fellow members.
Moral and spiritual commitment: Seeking to live according to the teachings of the Bible, with love, honesty, and responsibility.

How to apply for membership

Step one: Apply: Complete the membership application form and commitment statement.
Step two: Meet and talk: A representative of the leadership team meets with you for a friendly conversation about the organization’s goals, areas of ministry, and any questions you have.
Step three: Application review: The leadership team reviews your application. You will be informed of the final decision within four weeks after your application is complete.
